Splash Landings Hotel

My room was very clean. I checked for bed bugs and dust, it passed nicely. - the bath/shower room need a grout change or deep clean around the shower creaves. - A huge need are bath mats, as the floor was soaked, i'm sorry I had to use the provided bath towels. I absolutely loved the free breakfast buffet, it had variety and catered for allergies , and it was always fresh and hot. - The evening entertainment was adorable the kids loved it. I would love to come again, there just needs some minor updates to the room, but overall it was a lovely experience

We had a great time at the Splash Landings hotel. The location with water park onsite, and proximity to the park is excellent. Minor gripes that the weather was roasting and the little fan in the room was barely adequate, it may be an idea to improve the cooling facilties within the hotel. I also wonder why they provide some entertainment at night, but take hour long breaks in between, so people rarely sit and wait for the next one. Why not just have a full evening of entertainment, there are hundreds of guests and I'm sure it would be popular.

Great Half Term Break I stayed here with my 2 children for 2 nights during half term (kids aged 8 & 10). We booked a beachcomber room in January and a morning in the water park. We were advised in the initial welcome email to book breakfast and dinner in advance to guarantee a table. Email received 2 weeks prior to visit and I duly booked our meal times. Breakfast & Dinner in Flambo Jamobs and the same in The Secret Garden, easy and straightforward. On arrival, check in was quick and we were soon in our room. The room.itself was clean, tidy and well kept, kids loved the bunk beds and had soon settled themselves in. Once unpacked we went for an explore around. As expected the hotel was busy however they are obviously well equipped for dealing with large volumes of people. After familiarising ourselves we went for a drink, 3 drinks in the bar were £15, a pint for me (£7) and 2 drinks for the kids (£4 each), I was expecting it to be more however not too much difference to decent pub prices. It was soon time for dinner and we had Flambo Jambos booked for the first evening. We had to queue for 10 minutes or so however no big deal, it was busy. The staff were polite and courteous and we soon had our table. Buffet food was great! Well presented and obviously made fresh. 6 different main courses to choose from plus a kids section, salads and desserts. Breakfast the following morning, again in Flambo Jambos was again, good. Good good quality and staff accommodating and polite. My only issue is, with somewhere so big, there should really be some proper coffee machines. I'm sure Aramark have a coffee contract and it wouldn't take too much effort to have a few machines installed. Onto the water park and it was fab! Kids loved it! Busy however plenty of room and things to do. Visited Mutiny Bay in the afternoon, frustrating that half term had been chosen to do maintenance on the momo rail which meant a 30 minute walk in the freezing cold with 2 young kids, not ideal. Only stayed in the park and hour as MB was rather disappointing and the kids weren't really enamoured with it, I agreed. Dinner during night 2 was in The Secret Garden. Considering the price, the service and food quality was distinctly average. The team in the blue shirts (supervisors at a guess were decent) however the servers definitely need more training. We had a much better experience the previous evening in Flambo Jambos which was also considerably cheaper. Breakfast on check out day was again in The Secret Garden, very good. Well presented and cooked, hot and good quality. Again, no coffee machines, definitely something to look at. Overall a great stay, no really complaints just a few niggles as there is room for a little improvement that wouldnt take much effort or cost.

Absolutely smashing hotel!! Every staff member was polite and charming. The rooms are is excellent - spotless and as if they were built yesterday....indeed, the hotel looks brand new. Evening entertainment is fantastic and well worth hanging around for (I think they should make a bigger deal of providing this - what a treat for family based hotel). On site restaurant is great too and the arcade was great. Price was very reasonable. In short, a wonderful hotel for families :)

Loved the hotel, theme, staff, cleanliness. Easy to check in online, the hotel sends you a message when your room is ready so you can head to the park and check in when your done, collected key from machine which was easy to use, takes a £5 deposit for card keys which is put back into your bank after your stay. Rooms easy to find. Clean corridors a d smell lovely. Rooms great, love the theme. bathroom a little snug but is fine for us. Only negative found was, after an exhausting day in the park, going to sleep was disturbed as you could hear people running up and down corridors from seeing the night entertainment, so took a while to drift off, this was between 9.30pm-11.30pm. Beds comfy, the kids had bunk beds which they loved.

Best stay we ever had, amazing view from out hotel room, staff where welcoming and friendly. We were comfy and really enjoyed our stay. I definitely recommend eating ar Flambo's Jambo that is in the hotel we had amazing breakfast there but dont forget to book a table in advance

Overall experience was excellent. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast and dinner with a wide range of food.

I’ve stayed in this hotel twice, every time I was met with friendly staff and a clean place to stay. The entertainment on the night is great and the free breakfast in the morning is amazing! It’s the closest hotel to the Galactica entrance so I like the location of it too! When I stayed during scarefest it was decorated very well!
